Tijn Trommelen (Oosterhout, 1996) catches the jazz virus at a very young age, through his father, the renowned jazz saxophonist Antoine Trommelen. At age 9, Tijn takes up the guitar. Together with his father and sister, he forms the jazz combo Three-O-Trommelen, which travels the world.

In his short but swirling career so far, Tijn shares the stage with great musicians, like Paulus Schäfer, George Washingmachine, Ian Date, Dirk Van der Linden, Ben Paterson, Engelbert Wrobel, Malo Mazurié, Brooks Tegler, Eiji Hanaoka, Uwe Rösler and Paolo Alderighi.

To continue his formal education, Tijn has recently enrolled in a preparatory course at the conservatory of Tilburg.
